Kevin Garnett’s insular tendencies have been enhanced and encouraged in this smartphone age. Even Paul Pierce ventured out last month, making what has become an annual appearance at the World Series of Poker. But Garnett clings to his Malibu digs like Greta Garbo, texting when he chooses to make contact. As such, Jason Terry only has exchanged texts with Garnett and Pierce since all three were traded to Brooklyn on draft night. They will reconvene at noon today at the Barclays Center for a grand unveiling.
